Free your Body Workshop

Hi guys, it’s been awhile! These last couple of months has seen some pretty crazy happenings in my world; Page 3 article in The West Australian newspaper (this requires another blogpost altogether…), presenting at FILEX in Sydney back in April and holding my first workshop on my own. On 25 May 2013 I was very privileged to hold a workshop at our Bayswater studio that I entitled “Free your Body – how to release your fascia to improve your yoga practice”. This workshop has been in development over the past 12 months or so and combined some theory on the Anatomy Trains, on tensegrity and how these trains or myofascial lines can become blocked or stuck and what to do about it. It was the first workshop I have held under my own banner of ‘Circus Conditioning’ and considering the great response and feedback I’ve had from the participants, I don’t think it will be the last!

We had an extremely diverse range of participants attend; yoga teachers, personal trainers, physiotherapists, physio students, yoga teacher trainees, massage therapists, ballet conditioners, pilates teachers, pilates practitioners and more! Everyone was extremely engaged, I had a tonne of great questions and everyone was willing to give it a good go (even the pubic symphysis release!).

It was a lot of fun sharing the information with everyone that was there. The workshop actually sold out within a week so I am holding another repeat workshop this Saturday 8 June (which is sold out as well unfortunately…). Good news is that I am currently finalizing another workshop date soon, most likely in early August. If you are keen on attending just send me a PM via this site or just comment below!
